I went ahead and let Emily over schedule herself this year:
Mondays she does GATE after school (Odyssey of the Mind).
Wednesdays she does the student store and saxophone at school.
Twice a month she does an activity day after school.
Thursdays she does saxophone at school and drama after school.
Fridays she does an hour piano lesson after school.
She still has to do homework and practice her piano and sax every day.
This is her last week of drama, but she's just starting up in a brass/woodwind band that will be 2 Thursday evenings a month and starting the ski team in January. She’s also keeping straight A’s so far. I keep waiting for her to crack, but
so far so good. . .
